The Weekly Dump 6.1.18

We’re in full summer mode here in Santa Cruz, even if the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Last weekend was full of beachgoers avoiding the inland heat, and starting this weekend we’ve got graduations (and the traffic they bring). But we’ve got lots of other stuff to talk about, including the Aptos teens beaten in the head with a hammer while they slept, we’ve got lots and lots of poppy fields here, we had a couple of local home invasions, low hanging fruit and felons with guns, shears a beauty, Fresno thief arrested, bridge jumper talked down, please don’t feed the bum, truck thief arrested in Watsonville, gimme shelter, Badwill, and the Happy Story of the Week!

The Weekly Dump 5.25.18

Until then, we’ve got this week’s hot news and views, including the officer involved shooting near Paradise Park, nobody wants this new homeless camp in their back yard, we’ve got brothers in arms, a security guard gets bashed in the head downtown, another typical meth bust, a couple of accidents in Aptos and Ben Lomond, asleep at the wheel, the art of the scam revealed, the Happy Story of the Week, Food Trucks not Bums, the Weekly Seen, and my ballot choices. Don’t forget to vote!
