It’s been another busy week covering the news and views of Santa Cruz. There aren’t many things you can count on locally but I can think of at least 2 things you can count on every week. Camp Coonerty still polluting San Lorenzo Park and the Weekly Dump keeping Santa Cruz “vibrantly honest” every Friday. This week, ICE sweeps through Watsonville, Mr. Mills’ neighborhoods, another Santa Cruz Probation success story, bring in the dog, possible Machete sighting in Watsonville, knife pulled at local church, and it would be ok on any other day, mint condition for a fight, Cowells Beach bathroom drama, weekly overdose at Camp Coonerty, wrong way car chase down Ocean, Aptos drunk crashes on Fair, Nevada couple arrested for local burglary, free showers for the homeless in Aptos, West Cliff protest march, and more!

Time for the latest Weekly Dump! This week, we’re stuck on stupid, the revolving turnstile at the county jail, Watsonville man arrested for gang shooting in Santa Cruz, Rambo goes down in Live Oak, Atlas shrugged, motorcyclist killed on Soquel, poster kids for county probation, knife fight at the Red Room, Public Safety Committee gets an earful, city calls out dubious county spending on mental health, and more!

Another week of misfits, misappropriation, and misunderstandings. It’s the Winter Solstice edition of the Weekly Dump!
